Willie David Simmons

Willie David Simmons, age 63 of Commerce, GA passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023.

Born on Jan. 26, 1960 in Commerce, GA, Mr. Simmons was the son of the late Travis and Margie Smith Simmons. He was preceded in death by brothers, Junior Simmons and Thomas Simmons.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Tina Laws Simmons; sons, Robert Moore, Brian Laws; daughters, Peggy Morrison, Amanda (Joshua) Rowland, Sharon (Joey) Getsinger; brothers, Ray Simmons, Jimmy Simmons; sisters, Julie Echols, Carol Parr, Shirley Samples, Rita Seabolt, Angie Elrod, Belinda Simmons; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Monday, Dec. 18, 2023 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Dumas officiating. The family will receive friends 12 pm until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.
