William Eugene Walgren

William Eugene Walgren, age 80 of Maysville, GA passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020.

Born on Feb. 2, 1940 in Denver, CO, Mr. Walgren was the son of the late Eugene and Margaret Walgren. He was a pilot in the US Army serving as LTC in the Vietnam War two times and Korean War four times, awarded the Bronze Star, Flying Cross, and receive three Meritorious Service Metals. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Carnesville, GA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Walgren.

Survivors include his wife, Suna Om; son, John Walgren; daughters, Kelly Walgren, Heather Om; brothers, Ken Walgren, Steven Walgren; and two grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held 3 PM Monday, Sept. 14, 2020 at US National Cemetery, 2025 Mt. Carmel Church Ln., Canton, GA 30114.
