Willa Nations Obituary

Willa Mae Spivey Nations, age 87 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022.

 

Born on Nov. 8, 1934 in Clay County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie Hogsed Spivey. Mrs. Nations was the widow of her first husband, Perry Parker and her second husband, Lester Nations. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by a son, Benny Parker; a grandson, Dewitt Sears; a brother, Marshall Spivey; three half-brothers; and three half-sisters.

 

Survivors include a son, Len (Tina) Nations; daughters, Kathie Tillery, Martha (James) Goodwin, Judy Bell; fourteen grandchildren; multiple great, great-great, and great-great-great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12 pm until the funeral hour Thursday at the funeral home.
