Obituary

Sarah Nelms Raulerson, age 91 of Hephzibah, GA passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022.

Born in Commerce, GA, Mrs. Raulerson was the daughter of the late Richard Nelms and Gladys Moon Wilson. She was the widower of Raleigh Raulerson, a retired CNA with BJC Nursing Home, and was preceded in death by sons, Hugh A. Nettles, Troy Raulerson; brothers, Dwight Nelms, Johnny Nelms, Sammy Wilson; and a sister, Elizabeth Nelms.

Survivors include her daughters, Dalene Irby, Deborah Palmer, Penny Mickler, Janet Raulerson; sisters, Betty Hanley, Linda Lassiter; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a number of great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11 am Monday, June 20, 2022 at Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jenny Allen and Pastor Jackie Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
