Born on Jan. 13, 1946 in Elberton, GA, he was the son of the late Lee and Eula Davis Elrod. He was a contractor and farmer.
Survivors include a son, Cody Dale Elrod, Albany, OR; daughter, Karen Haley, Jefferson; brother, Rev. Charles Elrod, Commerce; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
