Robert Mark McCoy

Robert Mark McCoy, age 66 of Homer, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

Born on July 5, 1955 in Plattsburgh, NY, Mr. McCoy was the son of JoAnne Parrott McCoy and the late Robert Greer McCoy. He was a retired software engineer, a member of Nails Creek Baptist Church, a member of Banks County Historical Society, a licensed HAM Radio operator, and loved photography.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Tabor Vaughn McCoy; son, Matthew (Emily) McCoy; daughter, Sherri (Blake) Kellum; brother, William “Bill” McCoy; grandchildren, Luke McCoy, EllaMae Kellum, Lincoln Kellum, and Eden Kellum.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Nails Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Duane Eller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
