Joseph Lee Hollis

Joseph Lee Hollis, Sr., age 56 of Nicholson, GA passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024.

Born on Feb. 18, 1967 in Winder, GA, Mr. Hollis was the son of J.D. Hollis and the late Cora Mae Nix Childs. He was a self-employed carpenter and was preceded in death by a daughter, Hope Smith; and a brother, Jerry Hollis.

Survivors in addition to his father include a son, Joseph (Tracie) Hollis, Jr.; daughter, Jennifer (Christopher) Harris; sisters, April Lynn Hollis (Josh) King, Elaine Nix; brothers, Stanley David Hollis, Clayton (Shelly) Hollis; sister-in-law, Pam Hollis; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews .Two Step Sons also survive Gene Johnson and Curt Noe.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bo Whisnant officiating. A cremation will follow the funeral service. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
