John Henry Underwood

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. John Henry Underwood, age 87, of Commerce, Ga. on March 01, 2024 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.  Mr. Underwood was the son of the late Gordon  and Lillie Cheek Underwood.  He was retired manager of an Asphalt Co.  Mr. Underwood is survived by his wife Mussette Meeler Underwood of the home.  Also surviving are many Great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. John Henry Underwood will be on Sunday, March 03, 2024 at 3PM in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Moore and Rev. Bethe Kellum officiating. Burial will be in the Grove Level Cemetery.   Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-3 PM.
