John Leonard Jennings

John Leonard Jennings, age 77 of Nicholson, GA passed away on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.

Born on June 20, 1944 in Chamblee, GA, Mr. Jennings was the son of the late Grady Alfred and Willie Mae Anderson Jennings. Mr. Jennings retired from Ellison Manufacturing as a sheet metal mechanic, was a fan of the GA Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, loved his family, and was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Jennings; sisters, Mae Steerman, Jean Howard, Betty Waters, and Laura Fowler.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Ann Bradberry Jennings of the home; sons, Jeff (Beverley) Jennings, St. Cloud, FL; Mike (Kim) Crawford, Nicholson; daughters, Jennifer Jennings, Commerce, Pam (Billy) Simmons, Maysville; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daryll Womack officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 pm until the time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
