Janice (Sailers) Slay

Janice Sailers Slay, age 81 of Bogart, GA passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2019.

Born on March 3, 1938 in Commerce, GA, she was the daughter of the late Harve F. and Evelyn McConnell Sailers. She was of the Christian faith, retired from banking with MainStreet Bank in Athens, GA, and was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Barnett.

Survivors include a son, Richard “Scott” (Christie) Slay, Marietta, GA; daughters, Stacey Lyn (Bobby) Hubbard, Bogart, Susan (Thom) Davis, Lincolnton, NC; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside  service will be held 11 AM Monday, Oct. 28, 2019 at Jackson Memorial Park with the Pastor Alex Gilbert officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
