James R. Morgan

James Reed Morgan, age 84 of Greensboro, GA passed away Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020.

Born on Dec. 29, 1935 in Carnesville, GA, Mr. Morgan was the son of the late John Raymon and Oswell Camilia Goosby Morgan. He was retired from Certainteed, a member of Temple of Praise, and was a US Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Chandler Morgan of the home; step-son, Tracy Taylor; daughter, Teresa Bedgood; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Marr and Rev. Wallace Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday 1 pm until time of the service  at the funeral home.
