Mr. James Kenneth Mealor

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James Kenneth Mealor 61 of Athens, GA, who passed away Feb.16,2021. He was the son of Betty Hardy Turner of Athens, and the late Billy Mealor Sr. He was a welder and had served in the National Guard.

Survivors in addition to his mother are son, Matthew Mealor, Daughter Crystal Lynn Dyer and brother Steve (Kathy) Mealor. 2 Grandchildren also survive. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Billy Mealor Jr.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
