Jack Leonard Whitlock, Sr.

Jack Leonard Whitlock, Sr., age 84 of Commerce, GA passed away on Monday, Dec. 14, 2020.

Born on April 8, 1936 in Jackson County, GA, Mr. Whitlock was the son of the late Guy and Lois Huntsinger Whitlock. He was preceded in death by sons, Michael Whitlock and Jack Whitlock, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Stephen Whitlock of the home; brothers, Roy Whitlock, Ted Whitlock, Jerry (Beth) Whitlock; sisters, Ellen Whitlock, Quida (Kenny) Wood; grandchildren, Daren Whitlock, Breanna Whitlock; daughter-in-law, Hazel Whitlock; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Casper and Rev. J.T. Turpin. Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
