Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Mr. Jack Thomas Smith 88 of Maysville, who passed away Friday March 26, 2021. He was the son of the late Benjamin Paul Smith Sr. and the late Dora Underwood Smith.
Survivors include one sister Betty Smith Sims of Byron, Ga., one brother, James Randolph (Jimmy) Smith of Commerce, Granddaughter Sherry Garrison (Tim) Booth of Nicholson, other close family members, Tammy Veal Creed, Craig (Haley) Smith and Kristen Smith all of LaGrange, Ga. Great Grandchildren, Layla Williams, Lagrange, Brock Booth and Miller Booth, Nicholson. A special niece Cheryl Sims Lowery of Byron, Ga.
Also surviving a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Mr. Smith was preceded in death by 2 brothers, George Otis Smith and Benjamin Paul Smith Jr.
Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating with burial in the Harmony Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the funeral home Sunday from 1 PM until the funeral hour.
