Frances Lorine (Lester) Roberts

Frances Lorine Lester Roberts, age 93 of Commerce, GA passed away Monday, Dec. 30, 2019.

Born on Sept. 19, 1926 in Duluth, GA, Mrs. Roberts was the daughter of the late Charles Rawlins and Georgia Alama Norah Brand Lester. She was the widow of Denver Thomas Roberts, a member of Redeemed Baptist Church.  She was raised on a farm and throughout her life she tried to bring us closer to the Eden that God had originally given us. She was preceded in death by a brother, Theron Lester and a sister, Bonnie Lester.

Survivors include a brother, William Avery (Vera) Lester; several nieces and nephews that she helped raise; and Cody the cat.

Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Morris Hansard officiating. Burial will follow in Community Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
