Elsie Faye Chestnut McGuirt, age 84 of Commerce, GA passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Born on Nov. 28, 1938 in Pensacola, FL, Mrs. McGuirt was the daughter of the late Wildern and Addie Cowan Chestnut. She was the widow of Robert McGuirt; a homemaker; and was preceded in death by a son, William Caro; sisters, Marie Taunton, Voncille Decote, Genieve Gross, and Lela Mae Scott.

Survivors include a son, Wincielee Caro; daughters, Darlene (Jay) Salinas, Lisa Maze, Cheryl Chestnut, Carla Caro, Delores Leonard, Mary Elizabeth Rutherford; brother, James Chestnut; sister, Dorothy Belden; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A cremation will be taking place per the deceased wishes.
