Elena (Semenova) Herron

Elena Semenova Herron, age 64 of Demorest, GA passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Born on March 10, 1960 in Blagoveschensk, Russia, Mrs. Herron was the daughter of Valentina Semenova and the late Anatoly Semenov. She was born in a family of a doctor and an engineer. Mrs. Herron was the widow of Wilburn Clayton Herron, was a lunchroom employee of Demorest Elementary, graduated from Kazan University.

She gave birth to her son in 1983 and lived in Russia until her immigration to the USA in 2006. In the USA, her husband Wilburn Clayton Herron and she have been living together in love and peace till his passing September 2021. She was a beloved mother, sister and wife for all around and will always be.

Survivors in addition to her mother include sons, Vladamir (Anna) Ivanvov, Joseph (Jody) Herron; brothers, Valery Semenov, Vyachesiav Semenov; and six grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 1-4 pm Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Ivie Funeral Home.
