Doyle Frank Baxter

Doyle Franklin "Frank" Baxter 72 passed away Saturday February 24, 2024.  He was the son of the late Doyle and Lizzie Toole Baxter and the husband of Roberta "Cooter" Baxter..  In addition to his wife he is survived by son Tony Baxter of Ila, daughter Lisa Brookshire of Homer, bother James Baxter of Nicholson, sister Geraldine Davis of Ila, Leann Huff of Ila, Rebecca Gearing of Danielsville and Opal Patrick of Statham.  10 Grandchildren  and 12 Great grandchildren also survive. Mr. Baxter was preceded in death by a son Terry Baxter and a sister Mattie Ruth Christian.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Heath officiating with interment in Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends in the funeral home Monday night from 5  to 8 PM
