Danny Lamar Lord

Danny Lamar Lord, age 70 of Orange Park, Fl., formally  of Homer, Ga., passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Community Hospice House In Jacksonville, Fl. 

Mr. Lord was born in Commerce, Ga. to Birdelle Lord and the late Horace Andrew Lord.  Mr. Lord was retired as a Maintenance Technician from Baldor.  In addition to his father, Mr. Lord was also preceded in death by his stepson, Nelson Lee Baugh.

Mr. Lord is survived by his mother, Birdelle Lord of Commerce; wife, Alma Jo Lord of Orange Park; son, Bryan Lamar Lord (Niki); three granddaughters, Chasity Garrett, Caitlyn Lord and Summer Andrews (Austin);  three great-grandchildren, Arrianna, Arnyia, and Aspyn; and two sisters, Brenda Barnette of Nicholson and Rhonda Westmoreland of Commerce.

Funeral service will  be  held Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Mr. Christian Buron officiating . The  family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Community Hospice and Palliative Care in Jacksonville, Fl.
