Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Brian Keith Stockton, 35, of Nicholson who passed away at his residence early Friday morning. Born in Athens, he was the son of Royce Stockton of Jefferson and the late Deborah Jean McCoy. Survivors, along with his father, include his wife of the residence, Teresa Griffin Stockton, a son, Matthew Tyler Griffin, and a brother, Chad Stockton of Braselton. Memorial services are scheduled for Sunday at 4:30 from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends at the service.
