Belinda Sue Simmons, age 53 of Clarkesville, GA passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024.

Born on July 28, 1970 in Commerce, GA, Mrs. Simmons was the daughter of the late Travis and Margie Smith Simmons. She was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills and was preceded in death by brothers, Travis Simmons, Jr., Thomas Simmons, and David Simmons.

Survivors include her significant other, James Couch; daughters, Kimberly (Omar) Castro, Donna (Jesus) Perez; son, Justin (Savannah) Simmons; sisters, Julie Echols, Carol Parr, Shirley Samples, Rita Seabolt, Angela Elrod; brothers, Jimmy Simmons, and Samuel Simmons.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 12 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
