Willard R. Cartledge, age 89 of Commerce, GA passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Born on May 10, 1936 to the late Joseph H. and Lola Mae Chapman Cartledge, Willard was retired from Westinghouse/ABB after 30 years of service. He was a former employee with Ivie Funeral Home and a member of Commerce Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Annette Greene Cartledge of 69 years; son-in-law, Larry Fletcher; grandchildren, Cooper Michael Dean and Finley Grace Dean; siblings, Groves H. Cartledge, Annie Blanche Andrews, James V. Cartledge, and Paul M. Cartledge.

Survivors include his children, Cathy Fletcher, Billy (Donna) Cartledge, Misty Payne, Teresa Nix, Lynn Mott; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Karen Fletcher, Rev. Gary Thompson, and Rev. Allen Vickery officiating. Burial will follow at Grey Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held 4-7 pm Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Ivie Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons, Russ Fletcher, Bryce Fletcher, Christopher Nix, Joshua Cartledge, Jeremy Cartledge, Timothy Mott, Eli Mott, and Corey Mott. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Ivie Funeral Home.
