Willard Alexander, age 79 of Commerce, GA passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018.
Born on Nov. 19, 1939 in Commerce, GA, he was the son of the late Ray and Pauline Archer Alexander. He was a truck driver with Gold Kist and was of the Holiness faith.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Armour Alexander of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie & Chris Poss, Commerce, Gail & Rocky Long, Commerce; step-daughter, Deborah Porter, Commerce; step-son, Bobby Porter, Hull; grandchildren, Thomas (Lindsay) Shiretzki, Samantha Marlow, Stephanie Porter, Steven Porter; great-grandchildren, Lillie Presley, Kaydence Shiretzki, Nevaeh Shiretzki, Haley Porter, Harley Porter and Lexi Porter.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Thompson and Rev. Nathan Hewitt officiating. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
