Weyman Lee Maney

Weyman Lee Maney of Danielsville, Georgia, passed away on August 1, 2026, in Bethlehem, GA, at the age of 80. Born on October 23, 1945, in Commerce, Georgia, Weyman’s life was marked by dedication to family, hard work, and a steadfast faith.

Weyman was the proud owner and operator of an auto paint and body shop, where he poured his skills and ethic into serving his community and building a lasting legacy of craftsmanship and integrity. His commitment to quality work reflected the sense of pride he took in everything he pursued.

Faith was a guiding force throughout Weyman’s life. He was of the Baptist faith, drawing strength and comfort from his beliefs and offering support and kindness to those around him.

Weyman is survived by his children: sons Kenneth Maney and Casey (Christy Chambers) Maney; step-son Timmy Gordon; and daughter Kristi (Ron) Prince. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Megan Maney, Mitchell Maney, Madison Carey, Will Gordon, Caiden Gordon, and Christopher Maney, along with several great-grandchildren. Their lives are a testament to his love, encouragement, and the values he shared.

Weyman is preceded in death by his father, Garnett Maney; his mother, Era Belle Beck Maney; and his brother, Grady Maney. Their memory endured as a constant source of inspiration and comfort to him throughout his days.

Weyman Lee Maney will be remembered for his dedication, his unwavering faith, and the profound love he showed to family and friends. His hard work and devotion have left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Family, friends, and all who knew Weyman are invited to gather for visitation on August 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Ivie Funeral Home, 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the same location.
