Services for Victoria W. Parr who died Saturday May 21, 2011 after a courage battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), will be Tuesday May 24, 2011 graveside at 4 P.M. from the New Salem Methodist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Lewis Parr of the home, her mother Frances Wheless of Commerce, 3 daughters Dee (Tim) Nicholson of Commerce, Melissa (Michael ) Patton of Jefferson and Katie Victoria Parr of Commerce, One brother Randy Wheless of Commerce and sister Sally White of Mt. Airy, Ga. She was preceded in death by a sister Pheobie Henderson and father Hoyt Wheless. 5 Grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Monday evening from 5 to 9 PM.
