Vickie Drew Worley

Vickie Drew Worley, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on August 5, 2025, in Gainesville, Georgia, at the age of 67. Born on March 12, 1958, in Commerce, Georgia, Vickie was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her community.

As a devoted homemaker, Vickie poured love and care into everything she did, creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family. She was a proud member of the Crossroads Worship Center Church of God, where she found joy and fellowship among her church family.

Vickie is survived by her daughter, Kelly Brookshire (Booger) Edwards; her son, Myles (Lisa) Brookshire; her sisters, Martha Smallwood and Nancy Summers; as well as a treasured group of grandchildren: Kyle Brookshire, Ashley Edwards, Kent Edwards, Kelsie Smith, Hannah Rouse, Danielle Edwards, Heather Lackey, and Will Daniels. Additionally, she is survived by her beloved great-grandchildren: D.J. Prather, Emma Smith, Chase Smith, M.J. Rouse, Payten Rouse, Abigail Lackey, and Ella Daniels. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Bealer and Laura Oneda Sorrow Smallwood; her husband, Danny Worley; and her brother, Jerry Smallwood. Their memories will forever live on through the family she so dearly loved.

A visitation will be held on August 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. Burial will follow at Grey Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kent Edwards, D.J. Prather, Eric Smith, Wayne Rouse, Will Daniels, and Kyle Lackey.

Vickie Drew Worley will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, love for her family, and commitment to her faith. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her.
