Vickie Cheryl Kesler, born on December 16, 1949, in Demorest, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025, in Athens, Georgia. She lived a life dedicated to her family and her work, becoming a respected self-employed contractor at Kesler Maintenance Contractors. Vickie's unwavering commitment and work ethic have left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Guy and Lera Hooper Black, her husband, Jerry Randall Kesler, and her siblings, Danny Black and Sandra Ward. Vickie’s legacy is one of love and strength, cherished by her family who remain to honor her memory.

She is survived by her two daughters, Delia Hinz and Jennifer (Daniel) Kuelker, a son, Jeremy Kesler, her sister, Karen Spence, and her brother, Mike Black. Vickie also leaves behind eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her spirit with them.

A funeral service to celebrate Vickie’s life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at New Hope Holiness Church in Danielsville, Georgia. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Vickie Cheryl Kesler will be remembered for her kindness, her dedication to her family, and her strong spirit that touched everyone around her. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she loved.
