Vester Lonzo Adamson, a dedicated handyman and beloved member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Lula, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, in Lula, Georgia. Born on November 22, 1974, in Gainesville, Georgia, Vester lived a life marked by hard work, faith, and devotion to his family.
Throughout his career as a handyman, Vester was known for his skill and reliability, offering trusted services to his community with a genuine commitment to quality and care. His professional life was a reflection of his character—dependable and compassionate.
Vester’s deep roots in his faith were evident in his membership at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Lula, GA, where he found strength, fellowship, and a place to share his spiritual journey. His church family was an important part of his life, underscoring the values he treasured most.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amarylin Diaz Cintron Adamson, with whom he shared a life of partnership and love; his cherished daughter, Nola Richards-Adamson, who brought him immense joy; his devoted mother, Joan Marie Raine; and his siblings, brother William Mathison, brother Neil Mathison, and sister Cirstie Mathison. Together, they carry forward Vester’s legacy of family unity and support.
Vester was preceded in death by his father, Roy Adamson, whose memory undoubtedly lives on in his son’s heart and spirit.
A visitation will be held on May 21, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ivie Funeral Home. His funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on May 22, 2026, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 2405 Georgia 51, Lula, GA 30554, with Rev. Phil Parks and Rev. Scott Smith officiating.
