Vera Nell (Mcelhannon) Parson

Vera Nell Parson 81 of Maysville passed away on Thursday February 16, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late Leroy McElhannon and Flora Epps Potts and the widow of Bobby Parson.

Mrs. Parson was a homemaker and a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church.  Survivors include 2 sons Randall (Robyn) Parson and Lonnie Parson of Homer, and 2 Daughters Kathy (Donald) Roberts and Sandra (Dennis) Ervin of Homer.  A special sister Frances Carithers of Athens, Ga. also survives along with 18 Grandchidlren and 13 Great Grandchildren, four special great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Maeley, Kohen, and Maverick.

Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Boswell officiating with burial in the Silver Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends in the funeral home Saturday evening from 5 to 7 PM.
