Tresa Dawn Bolton

Tresa Dawn Bolton, born on November 1, 1977, in Augusta, Georgia, passed away on May 16, 2025, in Walhalla, South Carolina, after an untimely passing following a hardfought and courageous battle with cancer.

Tresa's life was marked by her caring and compassionate nature, which she shared with all those around her. She served as a dedicated member of the cafeteria staff at the Toyota Plant, where her warmth and kindness positively impacted coworkers and patrons alike. Tresa was deeply involved in her community as a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Hartwell, Georgia, where she found fellowship and strength among her church family.

She is survived by her beloved spouse, Seth Bolton, who stood by her side through every chapter of her life. Tresa was a loving mother to her bonus children, Wade, Logan, and Wyatt Bolton, and a devoted grandmother to Addison and Wilder Bolton, who brought her immense joy. Additionally, she leaves behind her cherished mother, Hazel Martin, and brothers, Brian (Angela) Martin and Dwight (Gloria) Martin. Her vibrant spirit will be remembered fondly by her niece, Tatum Bolton.

Tresa's legacy will also live on in the hearts of those who knew her, as she was a cherished friend to many, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. She was predeceased by her father, Ray Martin, and her sister, Gwen Risser, who now welcome her into eternal peace.

As we reflect on Tresa's life, we honor her unwavering strength, her boundless love for her family, and her commitment to uplifting those around her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the memories and stories shared by her loved ones.

Family and friends will gather at Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce, Georgia, for visitation on May 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, with interment at Grey Hill Cemetery.
