Teresa Renee Swain

Teresa Renee Swain, age 55 of Commerce, GA, passed away on May 26, 2026, knowing that her family loved her very much.

Teresa was a devoted wife of 31 years, loving mother, proud grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched all who knew her. Teresa found joy in the simple but meaningful moments of life. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren every chance she could. Whether she was gardening, crocheting, keeping her vehicles sparkling clean, or attending car shows with her beloved husband, Teresa brought passion and care into everything she did. Her love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life, and the memories she created with them will be cherished forever.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Aaron Poole. Teresa leaves behind her devoted husband, Scott Swain of Commerce, Georgia. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jenny Stanley (John Stanley) and Kristin Acree (Jeremy Acree), as well her father, Harold Rogers. She was a very proud grandmother to Bralynn Stanley, Madi Acree, Cameron Stanley, Emersynn Stanley, Hadlee Acree, and Scottlyn Acree.

She is also survived by her son, Joshua Arnold and wife Erica Arnold, along with their children, Caiden and Peyton Arnold.

Teresa additionally leaves behind her brother, Scott Rogers; her sister, Karen Rogers, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Teresa’s love, strength, and dedication to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service to honor Teresa's life will take place in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 at 2:00PM. Interment will follow at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 from 11:00AM until the service hour.
