Teddy Lamar Shubert

Teddy Lamar Shubert, of Carnesville, Georgia, passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 66. He was born on November 1, 1959, in Commerce, Georgia. His passing brings sorrow to those who knew and loved him, and his life will be remembered with deep affection by his family and friends.

Teddy shared his life with his wife, Sandie Spinks Shubert. He is also survived by his children, daughter Teddie (Kayla) Edwards; son, Jason Shubert; sister, Janet Marie (Ralph) Webb; brothers, Jerry Shubert, Mark (Patricia) Shubert, and Charles Shubert. His family circle also includes his granddaughter, Addison Nichols, whose place in his life was surely treasured.

Teddy was preceded in death by his father, Morgan Lee Shubert, and his mother, Bertha Mae Scoggins Shubert. Their memory remained a lasting part of his life, and now he rests in that reunion.

A memorial gathering to honor Teddy Lamar Shubert’s life will be held on September 4, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Ivie Funeral Home, 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, Georgia 30529.
