Steven Michael Hagan, a dedicated mechanic with Athens Clarke County, was born on August 29, 1962, in Louisville, Kentucky. He departed from this world on April 29, 2025, in Nicholson, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.
Steven's career as a mechanic highlighted his skills and passion for fixing and maintaining vehicles, serving his community with pride. He was known not only for his technical expertise but also for his unwavering dedication to quality work that made a difference in the lives of those he served.
He is survived by his step-son, Roy Robinson (Dawn); step-daughters, Ann Poston (Jim) and Misty Robinson (Ken); sister, Sheila Norman; brothers, Frank McIntire (Pam), Gary McIntire (Anne); seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. These family members cherished the moments they spent with him and will carry fond memories of his love and guidance.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Francis J. Hagan, his mother, Sue Elmore Hagan Leachman, and his spouse, Shirley Gable Hagan. Their absence is felt deeply, and he now joins them in eternal rest.
A visitation in honor of Steven will be held on May 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place on May 4, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery.
