Seaborn Towns Comer, a respected professional at Power Partners and a resident of Hull, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, in Athens, Georgia. Born on July 10, 1944, in Comer, GA, Seaborn lived a life marked by dedication, warmth, and enduring commitment to his family and community.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joe and Hazel Phillips Comer, whose legacy of strength and kindness clearly shaped his character. Seaborn also mourned the loss of his step-children Randy Wood and Judy Wood, as well as his sister Mary Jo Comer. His nieces, Shelia Cook and Regina Fleming, also predeceased him, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever be held dear by those who knew him.

Seaborn is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Kathleen Hill Comer, who stood by his side through all of life’s seasons. His family flourished with the addition of his daughter Rochelle Brooks Dobbs, and step-son Mark Wood. Seaborn was a proud grandfather to Liddie Dobbs and Oliver Dobbs, and his family circle extended warmly to include two step-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren, and one step great-great-grandchild. He leaves behind a rich family heritage, testament to a life well-lived and love generously shared.

A visitation will be held in his honor on March 29, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street in Commerce, GA 30529. Following this, a memorial service will take place the same afternoon starting at 4:00 PM at Danielsville Memorial Gardens on Sunset Drive in Danielsville, GA 30633.
