Brenda Roberts of Homer, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on December 28, 1946, in Homer, Georgia, Brenda's life was a testament to resilience, devotion, and quiet strength.

Brenda was the beloved daughter of the late David Lewis Bray, Sr. and Coralee Dodd Bray. Raised in Homer, she built her life amidst the warmth of a large and loving family. Brenda was predeceased by her cherished husband, David Lee Clark, and by her daughters, Donna Jean Carlyle and Beverly Denise Brock. She also mourned the loss of her siblings: her sister Rosalee Tice, and her brothers David Lewis Bray, Jr., Herbert Willis Bray, James Bray, Charles Bray, and Danny Bray.

Throughout her years, Brenda's greatest joys came from her role as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her devoted son, Matthew Clark, who was a steadfast presence in her life. Brenda's legacy continues in her grandchildren: Michael Carlyle, Joey Brock, Timothy Brock, Brittany Turk, Tori Sanford; and a son-in-law, Joe Brock; a multiple nieces and nephews. Their lives have been shaped by her unwavering love, nurturing spirit, and the invaluable lessons she imparted. Her influence will endure in their hearts and actions.

Brenda's journey in life was marked by strong family bonds, enduring friendships, and deep-rooted connections to her Georgia community. Those who knew her remember her gentle compassion, her ability to listen, and her unwavering presence during life’s trials and celebrations.

Family and friends are invited to honor Brenda's memory during visitation on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ivie Funeral Home, 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. Funeral services will be held at Ivie Funeral Home on Friday, August 21, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Jackson Memorial Gardens, 6825 Jefferson Road, Commerce, GA 30529.

As Brenda is laid to rest, she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength. Her memory will be cherished by all who were privileged to know her. May she rest in peace, forever remembered and honored by those whose lives she touched.
