Ronald Steed, a devoted father and loving brother, passed away on October 23, 2025, in Danielsville, Georgia at the age of 61. Born on January 11, 1964, in Commerce, Georgia, Ronald made significant contributions to his community and left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
Ronald grew up in a family rooted in faith and values, instilling in him the principles that would guide his life. He dedicated himself to his work as a maintenance lead at Green Wood Inc.-CAT in Athens, where he was valued for his expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence.
His strong Christian faith was a cornerstone of his life, shaping his interactions and relationships with others. Ronald's warmth and kindness touched many, as he exemplified the teachings of love and compassion in his daily life.
He is survived by his cherished children: Lindsey (Braxton) Hill, Ronald (Natalee) Steed, Jr., and Carlton (Josephine Melendez) Steed. Grandchildren: Rylee Steed, Kinsley Hill, Adeline Hill, Scarlett Steed, Ellie Hill, Madison Steed, Reagan Steed; brother: Donald Steed; sisters: Pat Childers, Debra Echols, Linda Moore, Brenda Hembree, and Janet Black.
He joins his beloved parents, Billy and Gladys Mealor Steed, in eternal peace. Ronald's life will be celebrated as a testament to his character, his faith, and the cherished memories left behind. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
