Rita Marie Fromhart

November 28, 1951 — December 22, 2021

Danielsville, GA

Rita Marie Fromhart,70, died December 22, 2021 at her home in Ila, GA.  She is originally from Westernport, MD, the daughter of Marie Fromhart Angle.  She is survived by her two sisters, Michelle Fromhart of Baltimore, MD and Paula Stephens of Keyser, WV and her nephews Kristopher, Matthew, and Tyler Stephens.

She attended St. Peters School and graduated in 1969 from Bishop Walsh in Cumberland, MD.  She then attended Maryland Medical Secretary School for two years in Hagerstown, MD.  She worked for doctors in the Baltimore area before moving to Cincinnati, OH, where she was an executive secretary for a software company. After six years in Cincinnati, she moved to Sandy Springs, GA, outside of Atlanta, and worked for several large corporations before starting her own business.

She turned her love for animals into a very successful dog sitting, dog walking and dog training business called "The Next Best Thing," and she volunteered at the Atlanta Zoo.  After moving from Sandy Springs, GA to Ila, GA in 2009, she started working in the retail clothing business.  For the past six years she worked at the Brooks Brothers Outlet store in Commerce, GA, where her knowledge of clothes was valued by a loyal group of customers who admired and relied on her sense of fashion and phenomenal customer service skills.

A graveside service will be held at St. Peters Catholic Cemetery in Westernport, Maryland later in January. Instead of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the American Diabetes Association or a local animal shelter.
