Patricia Ann Snead, a cherished seamstress and devoted family matriarch, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, in Seneca, South Carolina. Born on October 2, 1960, in Winder, Georgia, Patricia’s life was marked by her dedication to her craft and her unwavering love for her family.
Throughout her career as a seamstress, Patricia was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her creative spirit, bringing beauty and comfort to the lives of many through her skilled handiwork. Her talent and passion for sewing were a testament to her patient and caring nature.
Patricia was predeceased by her beloved parents, Charlie and Delphia Lonie Cruce Pressley; her devoted spouse, Phillip Snead; her beloved son, Johnny Wright; her brothers Allen Pressley and Johnny Pressley; and grandchildren Paiglynn Bland, Benjamin Wright, and Kaleb Wright. These losses left a profound impact on her heart, yet Patricia’s spirit endured through those who loved her dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Chris) Bland; sons Andy Wright and Calvin Bill (Melissa) Wright; her dear sister Melinda Ray; and brothers Tommy Pressley, Tony Pressley, Roy Pressley, Dale Pressley, and Ronnie Pressley. Patricia’s family also includes seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who were blessed to call her aunt.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones for a visitation at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529, on June 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will follow on June 13, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM, also at Ivie Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.
Patricia Ann Snead’s life was a tapestry woven with love, dedication, and resilience. She will be remembered not only for her remarkable skill and artistry as a seamstress but more importantly, for the profound warmth and strength she brought to her family and community. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
