Milton Strickland

Milton Douglas Macaurthar (Mac) Strickland 84 of Nicholson, Ga passed away Saturday August 22, 2026.  He was the son of the late Spurgeon and Onie Mae Anderson Strickland.  Mr. Strickland retired from Wrigley Chewing Gum Company.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include two daughters Shelley Dean of Nicholson and Kristal Turner of Homer, GA. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one grandchild.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 PM from the River of Life Church in Nicholson with burial in Howington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Ivie Funeral Home Tuesday from 5PM to 8 PM Tuesday and from 12 Noon until the funeral hour Wednesday at the River of Life Church in Nicholson, Ga.
