Martha Ann Fleeman

Martha Ann Fleeman, passed away on August 15, 2026, in Athens, Georgia, at the age of 77. Born on January 25, 1949, in Athens, Martha’s life was characterized by deep faith, commitment to family, and an unwavering dedication to serving others. Martha was the beloved daughter of the late Roy and Grace Pritchett. 

A devoted wife, Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Fleeman. Together, they built a loving home, raising two sons, Blake (Cari) Fleeman and Brad (Karen) Fleeman, who carry forward her legacy of warmth, strength, and integrity. Martha’s role as a mother was her great joy, to which she dedicated herself wholeheartedly.

Family meant everything to Martha, and she was especially proud of her grandchildren: Bryson Fleeman, Caroline Fleeman, Amy Fleeman, and Emily Fleeman. She delighted in their accomplishments, supported their dreams, and celebrated each milestone, leaving them with memories filled with laughter, guidance, and unconditional love.

Martha’s commitment to others extended beyond her family. A retired paraprofessional from Commerce City Schools, she devoted her career to nurturing and supporting generations of students. Colleagues and students alike remember Martha for her patience, compassion, and unwavering support—qualities that enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Faith was the cornerstone of Martha’s life. As a member of Nicholson Baptist Church, she found joy and fulfillment in fellowship and service. Her church community was a source of deep relationships and abiding comfort, and her presence there will be profoundly missed.

Martha’s legacy is one of selflessness, devotion, and gentle strength. Though she now rests, the love she bestowed upon her family and community continues to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Nicholson Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the same location, with Pastor Phil Parks and Pastor Russ Brown officiating. Interment will take place at Jackson Memorial Gardens.

Martha Ann Fleeman’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her kindness.
