Kathy Marie Ramsey

Kathy Marie Ramsey of Commerce, Georgia, passed away on January 23, 2026, in Athens, Georgia, at the age of 42. Born on July 26, 1983, in Commerce, Kathy was a loving homemaker who dedicated her life to family.

Marie leaves behind a devoted family, including her fiancé, Tony Daniel, of Commerce. She is the cherished mother of two children: her son, William Weeks, and her daughter, Stacy Boschan. Marie is also survived by her half-brother, Chris Highfield, and half-sister, Sherri Maready, both of Commerce. Additionally, she is deeply missed by her sisters, Angel Hill of Baldwin, Angelia Simmons of Cleveland, and April Ramsey of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly.

Marie was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Ramsey, her brother, Mark Jr. Ramsey, her father, Mark Maverick Ramsey, and her mother, Robbie Sue Leachman. Each of these individuals held a special place in Marie's heart, and their memories will forever be cherished.

A visitation will be held in her honor on February 7, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many through her love and dedication.
