Manuel Huizar Cortes

Manuel Huizar Cortes, age 86 of Commerce, GA passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

Born on Oct. 14, 1933 in Tlatenango, Zacatecas, Mexico, Mr. Cortes was the son of the late Cruz Huizar and Nicolasa Cortes. He was the widower of Isidra Cortes, preceded in death by a son, Conrado Huizar, was a farmer, and was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include sons, Gustavo Huizar, Armando Huizar, Santos Huizar, Manuel Huizar; daughter, Elva Sandoval; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3 PM Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Pablo Perez officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the funeral Home.
