Luwana “Kay” Coile, age 79, of Danielsville, Georgia, passed away on March 15, 2026.

Born June 12, 1946, in Athens, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Clint Dunson and Leta Ventable Dunson. Mrs. Coile was a retired bookkeeper with Superior Pants and was known for her dedication and hard work throughout her career.

Kay was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church and cherished her church family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who deeply loved her family.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carl Coile of Danielsville; her son and daughter-in-law, Heath and Julie Coile; her daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Jeffrey Dowdy; her grandchildren, Justin McCurley, Heather Guest, and Nash Coile; and her great-grandchildren, Walker McCurley and Ellie and Eliza Guest.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce, Georgia, with Rev. Marion Prather officiating.

Mrs. Coile will be remembered for her love of family, her faith, and the kindness she shared with those around her.
