Lowell "Tiger" Frederick Adkins

Lowell "Tiger" Frederick Adkins, of Danielsville, Georgia, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 82. He was born on December 17, 1943, in Chesapeake, Ohio.

Mr. Adkins worked for Fowler Products and was a member of Ila Baptist Church. These parts of his life reflected both his steady work and his faith, and they remained important to him through the years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Garland Adkins; his mother, Bernice Adkins; and his step-sons, Gregory Thomas Seagraves, Christopher David Seagraves, Billy Scott Seagraves Sr., Leslie Brian Seagraves; and eight siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Adkins; daughters, Lolita Turpin, Paula Adkins; step-sons, Bobby Gene Seagraves, Michael Keith Seagraves, Billy Scott Seagraves, Jr.; brother, Rick Adkins; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ivie Funeral Home, 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, Georgia 30529. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Howington Cemetery.

Lowell Frederick Adkins will be remembered with respect by those who knew him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who shared in his life.
