Louise (Lou) Hendricks Lynn

Louise Hendricks Lynn (Lou), age 84 of Loudon, TN passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Lou was born on January 6, 1941 in Columbia, SC and spent most of her childhood in Commerce, GA. After high school, she moved to Atlanta where she met her beloved husband James “David” Lynn. The couple moved to Marietta, GA after marriage where Lou raised her son and happily lived most of her life with her strong community of friends. Lou received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Kennesaw State University in 1992. Lou was devoted to her friends and family and consistently placed their welfare above her own.

Louise Lynn was preceded in death by her parents William Moran Hendricks and Beatrice Wood Hendricks; her husband of 57 years, James "David" Lynn; and her brother William (Billy) Hendricks.

She is survived by her son, Patrick A. (Bratati) Lynn, Loudon, TN; granddaughter, Kaili C. Lynn, Walnut Creek, CA; and sister-in-law Barbara Hendricks, Commerce GA.

A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held 12pm Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, GA.
