Lois Margaret Mullinax

Lois Margaret Mullinax, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on October 24, 2025, at her residence, at the age of 89. Born on March 10, 1936, in Buford, Georgia, she was the cherished daughter of Burton and Winnie Cash Maddox. Lois led a life marked by love and devotion to her family, serving as a dedicated homemaker.

Lois' impact on those around her was profound, and her commitment to nurturing her family was unwavering. She is survived by her son, Richard (Lisa) Long, and her daughters, Renitia Rohletter and Rhonda Crump. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Leighann (Alex) Campbell and Amy (Justin) Wilson, and her seven great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the values of kindness and compassion she instilled in them. Special friend, Shirley Edwards; and nephews, Phillip (Lenora) Maddox, and Harold Maddox.

Throughout her life, Lois was an active member of Refuge Baptist Church in Commerce, Georgia. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, and she cherished the community and friendships she found there.

Lois joins in eternal rest with her husband, David Long, and her first husband, John Mullinax. She is also reunited with her daughter, Sheila Wood, and her grandson, Jacob Rohletter, who preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held on November 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. A funeral service will follow on November 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the same location. Burial will be at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 2280 Shoal Creek Rd., Buford, GA 30518.

Lois will be remembered for her loving spirit, unwavering dedication to her family, and the warmth she brought to all who knew her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.
