Lisa Ann Boswell, a cherished member of her community and dedicated nurse with the Clarke County School District, passed away on October 18, 2025, in Athens, GA. Born on March 25, 1970, in Commerce, GA, Lisa's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to caring for others, both in her professional role and through her active participation in her community.
As a nurse, Lisa touched countless lives, bringing compassion and kindness to the students and families she served. Her impact extended beyond her work; she was a beloved member of Barber Creek Baptist Church, where she embraced the values of faith and fellowship. Additionally, Lisa was known for her support of the AMVET VFW, reflecting her dedication to honoring and supporting veterans.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Wayne) Farmer; her sisters, Tabitha Bailey and Christy Gordon; her beloved grandson, Titus Farmer; and her significant other, Perry Hosch Jr. Lisa's legacy will continue through the love and memories shared with these family members, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Glynn Boswell, and her mother, Debbie Nix. Their memories remain a testament to the loving family environment that shaped Lisa into the remarkable person she became.
The community will have the opportunity to honor Lisa's life and memory during a visitation on October 25, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM, both taking place at Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce, GA.
As we remember Lisa, we celebrate her spirit of kindness, her passionate commitment to service, and her enduring love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
