Lillie Elizabeth Mize

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Lillie Elizabeth Parson Mize, 86, of Commerce who died on Sunday at Southern Pines Assisted Living in Maysville. Born in Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Lou Shannon Parson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, E.B. Mize, a daughter, Gail McCoy and a son, Rickey Mize. Survivors include her children, Willie Lou (Jerry) Mize Stoyle of Danieslville, James T. (Sandra) Mize of Hoschton and Ty (Susan) Mize of Commerce; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday at 2 PM from th Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Ralph Smith and Rev. Phil Parks officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:30 until the time of service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight (Monday) from 6-9 PM.
