Larry William Burns

Larry William Burns, age 73, of Commerce, Georgia, passed away on November 2, 2025. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 3, 1952, Larry was a devoted family man and a respected figure in his community. made significant contributions his life, in his professional career and as an active member of his church.

Larry enjoyed a successful career as a Regional Manager at The Home Depot, where he was known for his leadership and dedication. His professional journey was complemented by his academic accomplishments, having earned a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Mercer University. This education shaped his values and strengthened his commitment to community service.

A member of Johns Creek Baptist Church, Larry's faith played a central role in his life. He was deeply involved in church activities and cherished the fellowship he shared with members of his congregation.

Larry leaves behind a loving family who will carry on his legacy. He is survived by his son, Trevor (Tamara) Burns; his daughters, Terah (Leroy) Blackwell and Debra (Jody Wallace) Burns; his brother, Dale Burns; his sister, Judy Gardener; and six beloved grandchildren. Additionally, he will be missed by several nieces and nephews who admired him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Dale Burns; his mother, Lorene Ragsdale Burns; and his brother, George Burns.

Larry William Burns will be remembered for his kindness, his commitment to his family, and his unwavering faith. His impact on those around him will not be forgotten, as he leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and integrity.
