Larry enjoyed a successful career as a Regional Manager at The Home Depot, where he was known for his leadership and dedication. His professional journey was complemented by his academic accomplishments, having earned a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Mercer University. This education shaped his values and strengthened his commitment to community service.

A member of Johns Creek Baptist Church, Larry's faith played a central role in his life. He was deeply involved in church activities and cherished the fellowship he shared with members of his congregation.

Larry leaves behind a loving family who will carry on his legacy. He is survived by his son, Trevor (Tamara) Burns; his daughters, Terah (Leroy) Blackwell and Debra (Jody Wallace) Burns; his brother, Dale Burns; his sister, Judy Gardener; and six beloved grandchildren. Additionally, he will be missed by several nieces and nephews who admired him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Dale Burns; his mother, Lorene Ragsdale Burns; and his brother, George Burns.
