Kim Samples

Kimberly Barron “Kim” Samples, 60, of Sevierville, Tennessee, formerly of Nicholson, Georgia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

 Born on July 11, 1966, in Commerce, Georgia, Kim was a proud graduate of Commerce High School. She dedicated 22 years of hard work to The Pottery before continuing her career with Hospitality Depot in Sevierville, where she was known for her kindness, strong work ethic, and warm spirit. Above all else, Kim’s greatest joy in life was her family. While she deeply loved all those around her, nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than her beloved grandsons, Barrett Thomas Samples and Cooper Lee Samples. They were truly the light of her life and her greatest pride. 

Kim shared 37 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, William Lee “Billy” Samples. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and unwavering devotion. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Billy Samples, Sevierville, TN; her children, Luke (Chasity) Samples, Nicholson, and Jake Samples, Nicholson, her cherished grandsons, Barrett Thomas Samples and Cooper Lee Samples; her mother, Glenda Wood Barron, Commerce; and her sisters, Amy Barron Gunter, Toccoa and Leigh Barron Barnes, Hull; Many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews. Her Mother-n-law, Tommie Nell Samples, Sevierville and Aunt, Joan Wood Waters, Barnesville, GA. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Barron, Father-in-law, Tommy “Pollock”Samples, Kim will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, unwavering dedication to her family, and the joy she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and in the countless lives she touched.

The family will recieve friends at a visitation on Thursday, July 30th, 2026 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and at 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A funeral service to honor Kim's life will be held on Friday, July 31st, 2026 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery
